This summer, live the Priorat.

This summer, experience the Priorat like never before: among vineyards, starry nights, soulful wine tastings, and villages that welcome you with calm and charm. If you’re looking for an authentic getaway, far from the noise, the Priorat offers experiences that engage all your senses.

From local fairs to moonlit wine tastings, we’ve put together four real and special plans to make the most of August in the heart of a land that captivates with every step.

Molar Tast 2025 – wine tasting, live music & local crafts

When: August 9th starting at 7 PM, at El Molar’s main square.
The popular Molar Tast fair combines wine tastings from local wineries with artisan stalls, farm-to-table gastronomy, and live music. Tastings kick off at 7 PM with Jordi Grifoll, followed by a concert at 10 PM by H2O Banda 80s.

Pro tip: Bring your own glass or buy one there (€2). It’s the perfect way to end the day with good vibes and sunset views.

Wine tasting under the moon and stars at Mas Ardèvol

When: August 1st, 2025.
A unique nighttime experience: guided stargazing followed by a tasting of white wines from the DOQ Priorat, featuring twenty chefs from Porrera (Giol Porrera, Sangenís i Vaqué, Cal Pla…), paired with fresh seasonal dishes. Price: €50 per person.

Recommendation: book accommodation (e.g. at Mas Ardèvol) and enjoy a truly special night surrounded by wine, sky, and silence.

Noteworthy visits and wine tastings at Priorat wineries

August is a privileged time to discover Priorat wines right where they’re born. Many wineries open their doors to offer tastings among the vines, walks through the landscape, and conversations that connect the glass to the land.

At Celler Dosterras (Marçà), you can enjoy an intimate, unhurried visit through vineyards and garden, where each tasting becomes a story. Perfect for couples or small groups seeking an experience full of soul, beauty, and quiet.

Tip: Get in touch in advance—especially in August—and ask about special experiences like sunset tastings or pairings with local products.

4. Terrer Priorat Festival 2025: music, landscape & wine

The Terrer Priorat Festival is a cultural initiative that blends music, wine, landscape, and architecture in unique locations throughout the region, running from late August to December.

This August, the festival kicks off on August 30th with an opening session at the Cartoixa d’Escaladei, marking the beginning of a season of intimate concerts in heritage and nature-filled venues across the Priorat.

Some highlights of the Festival include:

  • August 30th, 7 PM: Hirundo Maris at the Church of Santa Maria d’Escaladei
  • August 31st, 7 PM: Judit Neddermann & Pau Figueres at the sports hall in Poboleda

As the season moves forward (September–November), the program unfolds across several villages: Gratallops, Torroja, Ulldemolins, Els Guiamets, Capçanes, Porrera, and Falset.

Experiencing the Priorat is so much more than just visiting it.

This August, the Priorat offers you much more than just sun and scenery—it invites you to embrace a slower, deeper, and more connected way of living. From wine tastings under the stars to concerts in ancient chapels and village fairs full of soul, every activity is an invitation to feel like part of the land.

Whatever your plan—discovering wines, listening to music, strolling through vineyards, or simply breathing in the silence—this summer you have the chance to experience the Priorat with all your senses.

And if you’re looking for a place to slow down, connect, and feel at home among the vines… we’ll be waiting for you at Dosterras.
